FREE School Visits!

After seventy-three fabulous FREE school visits with WARNING: Magic Can Be Dangerous!, B. Ware is now taking bookings for visits with WARNING: May Contain Dragons up until the end of 2025. So, if your school would like a FREE author visit, then please get in touch! She normally spends the whole day at a school, hosting a thirty-minute assembly followed by three or four hour-long workshops for KS1/KS2 classes or year groups. But she’s happy to tailor her visit to the needs of each individual school. All of her school visits are ENTIRELY FREE OF CHARGE, and she’ll even throw in free stickers and bookmarks for all pupils, along with a free signed copy of one of her books for the school library. Compton Primary

Today’s school visit was a little farther afield than normal, as I was in Berkshire today, visiting Compton Primary. It was the first time I’ve been to this lovely school – so the pupils hadn’t come across either of my books before.

Castle Hill Primary

The timetable for today’s visit to Castle Hill Primary changed a number of times before I got there, and in the end, the hall was needed first thing, meaning I didn’t get to do my assembly. But every cloud has a silver lining…

Lakeside Primary

Today, I returned to Lakeside Primary… just a stone’s throw away from home. This super school will always have a special place in my heart – given that my children enjoyed many happy years there when they were younger.

I had a fantastic day with my cover illustrator, Theo Javis, at his school - Brookthorpe Hall School - today. But I'll have to save sharing all the details with you until I have a bit more time on my hands, as I'm in the middle of a rather busy week!

St Matthew’s Primary, Cainscross

It was a real pleasure to return to St Matthew’s Primary School in Cainscross today. The atmosphere inside the school was as warm and welcoming as I remembered from last year, and it was a treat to see so many familiar faces!

Shurdington C of E Primary

Today’s visit to Shurdington Primary was my final school visit with WARNING: Magic Can Be Dangerous! (because from Monday onwards, I’ll be hitting the road with WARNING: May Contain Dragons).
