Dragons are make-believe, right? Wrong! As Willow is about to find out… When Willow’s mum drops a bombshell on Christmas Eve, Willow doesn’t think things can get any worse. Until a dragon kidnaps her little brother!
On Wednesday 20th November, B. Ware will be spending the day at Tidbury Green School in Solihull.
On Monday 14th October, B. Ware will be visiting Ashley Manor Preparatory School.
Thursday 10th October will see B. Ware off to Elmley Castle C.E. First School.
On Wednesday 9th October, B. Ware will be off to Foxmoor Primary for the day.
Well, today kicked off with heavy downpours and thunderstorms forecast, and a wheel snapping off my author trolley – the contents of which weigh more than a baby elephant. But other than that, my visit to the amazingly awesome Abbeymead Primary School started the second term of my author visits off perfectly!
It was an absolute treat to host two workshops at Waterstones Southampton, Westquay.
“The author came into our local middle school, having seen she was visiting I took the opportunity to purchase the book for my 10 year old son who is reluctant to go into school and very reluctant to read.”
Well, that’s a wrap! After 32 school visits over the last 52 school days, I’m knocking off for the summer. And what a way to end this term!!! The Batt School in Witney is beautiful… as is the market town itself. And despite the sweltering heat, it was another unforgettable day.
Today’s visit was to Christ Church Primary in Cheltenham. It was another delightful day at yet another splendid school. And after the morning assembly, we somehow managed to squeeze five workshop sessions in before 3pm!
This afternoon, I was back in the heart of the Forest of Dean for school visit number 30. With this being the final week of term, I was anticipating tired, switched-off children at Soudley School today, all desperate to break up for the summer holidays.
“I read this with my year 4 class (8/9 year olds) and they LOVED it! I was regularly asked to read an extra chapter which I think speaks volumes about how much they were loving the story.
