My 18th school visit this November was to Callowell Primary in Stroud. And what a way to end the month!!! I arrived in time to attend their celebration assembly.
Visibility was poor on my drive to today’s school visit (thanks to thick fog). And it hadn’t improved much by the time I arrived at St Andrew’s in Evesham.
I blinked and today’s visit to Innsworth Junior was over. Where did the day go?!? Wherever it disappeared to, it was one I’ll never forget.
To wrap up this week of school visits, I spent the day at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary in Malvern. And what a terrific time I had there!
I think Waterwells Primary Academy definitely got their money’s worth during today’s FREE school visit! We somehow squeezed TWO assemblies AND four workshops into one day. I’m still trying to figure out how we managed to fit it all in!!!
I had another wonderful day today, on my visit to Eldersfield Lawn C of E Primary.
I’m honoured and thrilled to hear that WARNING: Magic Can Be Dangerous! has been shortlisted for a Dudley Children’s Book Award — voted for by staff and students in the participating Dudley Borough Primary and Secondary Schools.
I took WARNING: Magic Can Be Dangerous! all the way to Hollywood this morning. (Hollywood in Worcestershire, that is!) Today’s visit was to Coppice Primary, a super school with phenomenal pupils… all 680 of them!!!
WOW! What a phenomenal day!!! I set off in the dark this morning, to ensure I arrived at Tidbury Green in Solihull for my visit with time to spare. From the second I arrived, I sensed a real buzz of excitement in the air.
I’m so glad the snow didn’t interfere with my plans for today, as my visit to Great Oldbury Primary Academy was an absolute treat. This school is only a few years old and is beautifully designed, with an emphasis on light and space.
I didn’t have to leave the house until quite a bit later than usual today, as my school visit didn’t start until 10.45 a.m. Gretton Primary is only a small school, with fewer than 100 pupils in total.
My final school visit this week was to Castle Hill Primary, where the staff and pupils were all dressed for Children in Need. And what a Castle Hill welcome I received!
